I am a white, cis, queer femme artist and therapist.
I founded Mophead Femme as a celebration of queer femininity in 2017.
My collages are an act of healing as well as representation of it. Making art helps me practice routine, imperfection, using my hands, patience, pride, and trust.
My work is an extension of the playfulness and color of my gender expression. I explore imagined realities through recreating how the images I find interact with each other.
In addition to collaging, my healing takes the form of reading memoirs, cuddling with my informally fostered, chronically ill cat, walking outdoors, and piecing together jigsaw puzzles.
